Share a pivotal moment in your life.

The most pivotal moment in my life occurred on the night of October 9, 2017. That was the night the Tubbs wildfire destroyed whole neighborhoods in Santa Rosa, California. I was awakened at 1:30 in the morning by a robotic voice on the phone: “A wildfire is in your area. Evacuate immediately.”

The next morning, I returned to see massive devastation all around me. Entire neighborhoods were gone, leaving smoking rubble where houses once stood. My house was one of those that burned down. The fire had destroyed everything familiar, leaving me standing in the ashes of what once was my life. In the aftermath, my marriage unraveled, and I was forced to look deeply at who I was, what I valued, and what I wanted my life to stand for.

While that night marked a profound loss, it also opened a door for me. This dark time in my life was the beginning of a journey of self-discovery, where I learned to navigate grief, embrace change, and eventually share my experiences through writing. The fire was both a devastating end and the spark that ignited  a new direction for me. I share this because I want people to know that even in the ashes of life, new beginnings can emerge.

How are you helping educators and homeschoolers introduce concepts like emotional safety, compassion, empathy, resilience, and self-love?

My books, The Bella Santini Chronicles series, are more than just fairy tale stories. Beneath the magic and adventure that Bella experiences, there is wisdom forged through my own experiences. These books are designed to help children and families navigate the often-complicated world of emotions, because frankly, no one was ever taught how to effectively allow difficult feelings. The book series gives effective tools that most individuals have not explored.

To support parents and educators, each book includes a Parents’ Guide, and I also provide free downloadable Teachers’ Guides on my website. These resources unpack the emotional lessons woven into the Bella Santini stories and offer practical tools to bring emotional safety into the classroom or the home. My goal is to make it easy for teachers and homeschoolers to guide children in building both emotional awareness and healthier patterns of behavior, so that kindness, understanding, and resilience become second nature. My hope is that children will grow up not only entertained by Bella’s adventures but also empowered with the tools to handle their own emotions with love and confidence.

Tell us The Bella Santini Chronicles. What was your inspiration for Bella?

The Bella Santini Chronicles began as a fairytale I wanted to write for a child in my life. Yet as the story unfolded, I realized it was not only for her but also for every child, and for the inner child that still lives within each of us. Bella’s adventures reflect the real struggles children face, such as fear, self-doubt, bullying, and loss, while also offering them a safe space to explore difficult feelings and discover emotional wisdom.

Bella was inspired by the spirit of children everywhere, their curiosity, their openness, and their longing to be seen and loved for who they truly are. My hope was to create a character kids could see themselves in, someone who makes mistakes, feels deeply, and learns to trust her own inner strength. The magical realms, fairies, and dragons form the backdrop, but at its heart the series is about emotional growth, self-discovery, and reminding both kids and adults that wonder and healing live inside us all. In many ways, Bella reminds us all that healing, wonder, and courage live within us, waiting to be remembered.

The Bella Santini Chronicles: Stories That Heal

Through my children’s book series, The Bella Santini Chronicles, I speak to the soul of the child as well as the inner child within us all. These tales are more than fantasy. They are sacred transmissions, encoded with love, designed to gently guide children and their caregivers into emotional intelligence, emotional resilience, inner wisdom, and self-worth.

If something within you is stirring, that’s your remembering awakening. Start with the Bella Santini Chronicles books. These stories have the potential to be a portal to your sovereignty. My work is guided by the presence of Adamus St. Germain and Yeshua, whose whispers remind me, and now you: You are not broken. You are awakening.

We are in an era of great remembering. The children being born today are deeply aware. They need parents who don’t project their inner wounds, parents who can meet their kids with presence. My work is designed to help you be the parent those children so desperately need.

Share the recurring themes.

The Bella Santini Chronicles brings forward themes that are both timely and universal. Children see themselves reflected in Bella’s struggles with bullying, loss, and prejudice, and through her journey they are guided to new ways of meeting these challenges. The stories emphasize the importance of emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-acceptance, while also highlighting the values of friendship, integrity, and forgiveness. By engaging with these themes in a safe and imaginative context, young readers gain practical tools for navigating their own emotional worlds, and educators and parents gain a resource for building compassion, empathy, and love. These themes remind us that no matter how difficult life becomes, love, courage, and inner strength are always available to guide us forward.

Are you working on a new book?

Yes, I am! I just finished writing Book Five of The Bella Santini Chronicles. There is still much to be done with that one—editing, illustrations, and typesetting—so it will not appear until mid -2026.

However, Book Four, Princess Bella’s Unfortunate Journey, is likely to be published in 2025, perhaps in time for the holidays. Before that can happen, I need to complete both the Parents’ Guide and the Teachers’ Guide for the book, which explore its deeper themes.

This story is a big departure for Bella, as she unexpectedly finds herself back on Earth in her hometown, two years before she was first whisked away by the fairies. It is a turning point in her journey, one that brings her face to face with her past while testing everything she has learned.

I have also started writing my autobiography. There is so much of my own life that inspired The Bella Santini Chronicles, and sharing those experiences feels like the natural next step. My story explains why I am so passionate about helping people, both children and adults, learn how to face all of their emotions. The fire, the losses, the struggles, and the transformations I have walked through are the same energies I poured into Bella’s journey. My story explains why I am so passionate about helping people, both children and adults, learn how to face all of their emotions. Through it, I hope readers will see that even the hardest experiences can be met with courage, compassion, and love.

Beyond your books, she is the host of Unfiltered Parenting on the Trailblazer Network and the founder of the Heart of Humanity Awards. Tell us more!

The natural extension of the Parents’ Guides I created for The Bella Santini Chronicles was to begin offering conscious parenting advice. Children are naturally closer to their soul, so they can easily embrace the concepts in the stories. Parents, on the other hand, often carry layers of filters from their own upbringing, cultural expectations, and life experiences. Through Unfiltered Parenting on the Trailblazer Network, I provide tools and conversations that help parents move through those filters so they can meet their children with compassion, empathy, and presence. The show creates a space where families can explore real issues without judgment, and where parenting becomes less about control and more about connection.

Alongside that, I founded the Heart of Humanity Awards, which celebrate individuals and organizations that uplift and empower humanity. The awards recognize service in many forms—literature, community engagement, education, media, and more. My vision is to highlight those who are quietly creating ripples of kindness, courage, and love in the world, so their example can inspire others. Both the show and the awards grew out of the same passion that fuels my writing: helping people remember the power of love, resilience, and emotional wisdom in creating a better future for all of humanity.

What have you enjoyed the most about being an educator? What’s next?

What I have enjoyed most about being an educator is watching the light go on in someone’s eyes when they realize they can meet their emotions in a new way. Whether it is a child who learns that their feelings are not wrong, or a parent who discovers a gentler way to respond, those moments of awakening are priceless. I love creating spaces where people feel safe to explore, to question, and to grow into more compassionate versions of themselves.

As for what’s next, I am exploring collaboration with several emotional intelligence organizations, seeking to expand their offerings to include emotional resilience. Emotional intelligence helps us understand and work with our feelings, yet sometimes the focus on “managing” emotions can unintentionally lead to pushing them aside. Emotional resilience offers a gentle complement, encouraging us to fully feel and allow emotions to move through us in a healthy way. When we bring the two together, people are supported not only in understanding their emotions but also in embracing them with compassion, which opens the door to healing, growth, and greater well-being.
