Tell us about your background and how you gravitated towards technology.
My background started in International Relations where I worked in Hong Kong for a chip company, Xilinx, helping them set up their business and then to London for the US Embassy. I think I gravitated towards technology because I learned tech easily. (I learned how to build a computer!) I was always the person who helped my colleagues to use the computer, software etc. I am intrigued with how technology can make our life easier and work more efficiently which led me to AI. It is fascinating that we are in the age of automation and robotics.
Share your work as an AI and IT consultant for CAMS Innovation, and how you are counseling businesses in artificial intelligence.
I opened an agency because of the demand for IT and AI. I enjoy working with small businesses, especially women-owned. Small businesses are the backbone of our country. I work with businesses to integrate AI solutions in a practical and budget-friendly way. This includes identifying automation opportunities, recommending AI-powered tools for marketing, customer service, or data analysis, and guiding them on responsible AI adoption. I also ensure they understand AI ethics, data privacy, and compliance considerations.

What have you enjoyed the most during your career working in technology?
I’ve enjoyed working in technology for several reasons. Firstly, the constant need to learn and adapt to new technologies keeps my job exciting and challenging. I find immense satisfaction in solving complex problems and seeing projects come to fruition, knowing they can have a significant impact on people’s lives. Additionally, the tech community is incredibly collaborative, allowing me to contribute to and learn from others. The industry’s emphasis on innovation and creativity aligns with my passion for developing novel solutions. Lastly, the opportunities for growth and career advancement in tech are unparalleled, making it a fulfilling and dynamic field to be part of.
