Jordana Guimarães Host of “It Can Be You with Jordana” Produced by the Founder of E! Entertainment Television, Larry Namer Inspires “Soul to Soul” Conversations

Jordana’s journey for the last 20+ years has been spent in PR and Marketing building for world renowned brands including Nina Ricci, Porsche Design of America, LANVIN, Co-Founding FASHINNOVATION – connecting entrepreneurs around the world in Technology and Fashion and now, becoming the host of her own show, “It Can Be You with Jordana” – produced by the Founder of E! Entertainment Television, Larry Namer, focused on “soul to soul” conversations with trailblazers, celebrities & entrepreneurs, uncovering the “why” and “how” behind their success, when it comes to their daily wellness practices: Mind, Body and Spirit.
You are widely known as the Co-Founder of FASHINNOVATION. Tell us about 2025 and your vision for the future.
FASHINNOVATION is a company I co-founded in 2018 with the mission of connecting the industry globally – from the fashion as well as the innovation side. The vision came when we started deep diving into the fashion industry and realized that for an industry that should be connected, how disconnected it is! 2025 has started with challenges – Tariffs and others – however, with the right technologies that already exist and are available to the fashion industry, it may start pushing brands to think more sustainably when it comes to On Demand Manufacturing and AI capabilities.
My vision for the future is that the industry starts trying out all of the new technologies & innovations that are made available. It’s an industry that still doesn’t like to take risks – however, in order for the industry to change in the direction it needs to change to, this has to change.
My work toward this will be to continue to push out conversations via my Podcast, social platforms and getting people involved. After all, “Fashion is for Everyone”!
You have become a host of your own show, “It Can Be You with Jordana” – produced by the Founder of E! Entertainment Television, Larry Namer. How did you join forces with Larry and why is now the perfect time for your show?
A few years ago, we invited Larry to be a speaker at a Fashinnovation event – after hearing him speak and listening to the authenticity he still holds after having had all of the success he’s had with E! Television and several other projects, my partner at Fashinnovation and I, approached him and asked if he’d be a mentor/advisor to help us grow the company. With his humble ways, he immediately said “yes”. He’s seen me host events globally on stage and moderating conversations.
Approximately 6 months ago, Larry invited me out to Los Angeles to be interviewed on his podcast: Stall Talks, and after that interview he approached me about hosting my own show which has been a childhood dream!

The timing for my show – “It Can Be You with Jordana” – is perfect with the current climate of the world! Lots of people speak on spirituality OR their success stories & journeys, however, people relate to a show a lot more when speaking to the viewer through the spiritual and deeper purpose that leads roads to success and realize that it too is feasible for them to achieve it!

In your recent episode you interviewed Guillermo and Nathalie Zapata, the beautiful powerhouse couple behind SUR Restaurant. What surprised you the most about this power couple?
I always had a curiosity about how they maintain a healthy and loving relationship with so much outside noise (being in a place like Los Angeles) – with children at home, to top it off. I was surprised but excited and inspired to hear that they both compliment each other. Guillermo, as stated in the interview, is the “dreamer”, while Nathalie is the “grounded/level headed”. I do believe this Ying and Yang is the magic to their partnership!

You describe your show as “soul to soul” conversations. What inspires you?
I feel as though a lot of times, our heroes and celebrity obsessions as well as industry veterans seem “out of reach” for people due to their status or how “famous” they are. What inspires me about bringing out the “soul to soul” conversations, is for people to realize that we are all a lot more alike than meets the eye and everyone is just as special as the next person. As I always say, we all have a book inside of us – and the purpose in life is to inspire through our stories because the hardships and downfalls are just as special as the rising moments!
When interviewing guests what is of importance when doing a deep dive into a person’s story?
To give them a safe space to be vulnerable and not have a hidden agenda of what you want them to say or who you want them to be!
What would people be surprised to know about you?
For a long time, I noticed that when people see me – from the surface/outside – they see this giggly, playful girl who seems like she doesn’t have much inner depth. However, the outside that everyone sees is because spiritually I know how short life is, and that we must have fun and smile as much as we possibly can! Inside of me, live a lot of different facets including a mother, an entrepreneur, a philosopher, a dreamer and so much more! Every moment in my life, I see it as a movie and I think to myself “what role do I want to take part in today?”
Tell us about your book, “It Can Be You: Humanizing Homelessness.” Why are you passionate about telling this story?
I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I was fortunate to grow up in a very affluent household, yet due to the divide between the rich and poor in Brazil (and it being very obvious visually), it would always bother me from when I was a little girl that not everyone had the basic needs. Therefore, I always thought to myself that when I was older, I would try and eradicate homelessness or get everyone on board as a collective to do this. The book came to mind because of this lifelong dream, but also because I realized when getting into the fashion industry 20+ years ago, that people listen to fashion and especially influencers. Therefore, one day in the shower, I realized that these influencers can help give a voice to those who don’t have a voice (the homeless) and the book was born.
I partnered with Maria Cuomo Cole (Kenneth Cole’s wife and Governor Cuomo’s sister) and her organization Help USA to give proceeds to the families as well as Susan Rockefeller played an instrumental role in making the book come to life and published. Artist Jason Naylor designed the cover art of the book and of course, it couldn’t have been written without the vulnerability of 47 of the top fashion influencers.

Please share your vision for “It Can Be You with Jordana.”
My dream and goal with the show is for it to become a TV show – so that everyone can be inspired with the message that success is possible for any of us, if we learn how to lead with our mind, body and spirit! I’d love to interview individuals that have a huge following so that this message of “hope” reaches more people – Anita is someone I have my eye on! I love how she plays the character of Anita for her fans while truly living out being Larissa.
