Jules Lavallee: Life as A Writer, Influencer, and Global Connector

You have been a professional writer for 10 years. What aspects of your writing career have you enjoyed the most?

I have enjoyed waking up everyday feeling purposeful. Every day is different from the next. I am well-known as a Celebrity Writer, however my writing covers people from all walks of life, cultures, religions, and economic backgrounds. Being diversified has meant a lot to me. When I write about someone, I have always said it is as much about a reflection of you, as it is about me. 

Women’s empowerment has been very important to me. I have touched upon most subjects, even the most delicate and most controversial, because I felt the truth needed to be told. I have built a strong platform for 10-years.

Supporting women telling their stories and inspiring change is very important to me. 

People have the novel idea that being a writer gives you all the freedom in the world. That you sit in coffee shops all day and drink lattes. That is a misnomer. If you truly love the craft you are a perfectionist and you are owned by the craft. You live and breathe the power of the word. 

Throughout your career, who are some of the prominent figures that have left a lasting impression on you?

Larry Namer, Founder of E! Network is one of those special people who has really made his mark on the world. He truly created celebrity television. He is a visionary who made the Kardashians and Howard Stern famous. He continues to be a force today. 

Nicholas Celozzi is a well-known filmmaker with a fascinating family and new film, November 1963 to film in 2025. Nicholas Celozzi is the nephew of Chicago Mob Boss, Sam Giancana. The film is about the mob’s version of events as told by Sam’s brother, the late Joseph “Pepe” Giancana, who drove around with his brother Sam during those two days, directed by Roland Joffe (“The Killing Fields”, “The Mission”). Nicholas is very talented and in my view, his film will be another award-winning film adored by the masses.

Dunston Pereira, CEO of HH Sheikh Ahmed Quassami Royal of Dubai is one of the most prominent individuals I have interviewed in the Middle East. His dedication and humble nature is remarkable. His indelible mark with the 5-Mega Projects in the UAE is truly making Ras Al Khaimah the next biggest destination in the UAE.

 There are so many…these are to name a few. 

In what ways has your career as a writer opened new doors and opportunities for you?

My writing has opened doors globally. It has earned me the respect of global leaders, Kings and Queens. It took me 10-years to build the trust and reputation. It was not easy to do. 

Why did you feel that now was the right time to launch your own magazine? What inspired this decision?

I had a publisher who had the same vision as I do, so it was the right time. 2025 is the year of opportunity. 

What are your thoughts on being on the Cover of ‘Formidable Woman US’?

Let’s keep this one out. I am not a vanity person.

With such a busy and hectic schedule, how do you manage work life balance in your life?

Honestly, there isn’t a balance. I work 7-days a week. I wake up at 4 AM every day and I work. 

Can you walk us through what a typical day looks like for you as an Editor-in-Chief and a professional writer?

I wake up at 4 AM. I edit copy, then check emails. I do overseas calls from my LA home. I go to the gym then I get back to work. 

Do you believe the saying ‘your network is your net worth’? How has your network contributed to your success?

If you could interview anyone, who would be at the top of your list and why?

President Donald J. Trump. I have the utmost respect for him. 

What are your aspirations and goals for 2025, both personally and professionally?

I will take the advice of Mr. Wonderful, Think Big in 2025. I am working on many global projects to help humanity that I can’t disclose right now.
