Lyn was born and raised in Hawaii. She began her career in mortgage servicing with Bank of Hawaii. As a senior collection officer, she worked closely with homeowners facing financial difficulties, helping them navigate their options and find solutions tailored to their unique situations. This role instilled in her a strong foundation in financial problem-solving and client care.

When she moved to the East Coast, she continued to work as a loan officer, focusing on the Hawaii market. She remained committed to transparency and client advocacy, which naturally led her to pursue her dream of becoming a real estate agent. Joining Keller Williams allowed her to turn her passion into a reality. During her time there, she earned certifications in Luxury Homes, Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resources (SFR), building her expertise to better serve her clients.

Tell us about what led you to real estate. 

My path into real estate was shaped by my background in mortgage servicing and lending. I started my career working for a major bank where I initiated foreclosure processes and worked as a senior mortgage collection officer. This experience gave me insight into distressed properties, auctions, and the financial side of real estate.

Later, I transitioned into lending as a loan officer specializing in subprime mortgages, where I gained expertise in clearing liens, reading title reports, and analyzing appraisals. My combined knowledge of banking, lending and property transaction made real estate a natural next step. I eventually became a licensed realtor, bringing financial expertise to homebuyers and sellers.

I am dedicated to helping clients find their dream home. I understand that buying a home is not just about finding the right property, it’s about financial preparation, smart decision making, and seamless transaction process.

I take the time to listen to their goals, preferences and budget, ensuring that every home I show aligns with their lifestyle. I stay on top of market trends, inventory, and pricing, giving my client’s a competitive edge.

My mission is to make homeownership a reality for more people, simplify the real estate journey, and build a strong reputation as a trusted real estate expert in Los Angeles.

While on the East Coast you were a real estate agent for Keller Williams. What did this experience teach you? 

My time at Keller Williams in Northern Virginia taught me valuable skills, marketing, lead generation, and client engagement, while also giving me exposure to luxury real estate. Working in a highly competitive market, I learned how to attract high-end buyers, market upscale properties, and navigate the expectations of affluent clients.

I developed expertise in branding and online advertising. I learned to identify and connect with clients, often requiring a more personalized and strategic approach to sales.

My background gives me a deep understanding of real estate beyond just buying and selling. I’ve seen the financial side, legal complexities and the challenge homeowner’s face. I have real estate licenses in multiple states and knowledge of the different markets, forms and regulations. My combination of real estate, financing, and negotiation experience makes more than just a realtor. I understand every step of the process inside and out.

I am focusing on residential homes, townhomes, and condos which gives me a lot of potential in the Los Angeles market. As I work on securing listings, it’s helpful to tap into my network, leverage social media, and utilize tools at Partner Real Estate to attract sellers. Keeping refining my strategies, and my listings will follow. 

What do you enjoy most about working with clients? 

What I enjoy the most about working with clients is the opportunity to guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives whether it’s finding their dream home or navigating the complexities of selling. My background in real estate allows me to provide an expert perspective that ensures my clients feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.
