You published your first book in 2018. Tell us about that time and when you decided to help others to publish their books.

Publishing my first book, My Love Journal, in 2018 was a deeply personal and transformative experience. At the time, I was simply focused on getting my own story out to the world, not realizing that I was stepping into something much bigger. Once my book was released, I started receiving messages from people asking me how I did it and if I could help them publish their books. It started with friends, family, and people from my community — and before I knew it, I was guiding aspiring authors through the self-publishing process. That’s when the vision for A Mouthful Publishing Services was born. I realized that there were so many people with powerful stories to tell but no clear direction on how to get their books published. I knew I could help change that

What is the significance of the pseudonym “A Mouthful?”

The name A Mouthful actually started around 2015-2016 when I began blogging. I was writing raw, honest, and unfiltered content about my life, relationships, and experiences. People would often tell me, “Girl, you said a mouthful!” — and the name just stuck. I felt like it perfectly described my style of writing and my approach to storytelling. When I transitioned into book publishing, I kept the name because it still aligned with my mission: helping people say exactly what’s on their heart — without holding back. Whether it’s through their books, their business, or their story — I want people to know that their voice matters and it deserves to be heard.

Tell us about how A Mouthful Publishing Services has helped make dreams come true for individuals wanting to publish a new book.

A Mouthful Publishing Services has truly been a blessing, not just to my clients but to me as well. We’ve helped so many people turn their dreams into reality — from individuals who never thought they’d see their name on the cover of a book to authors who went on to become bestsellers. Our approach is very personal; we don’t just push out books, we walk alongside our clients from concept to completion.

One of my most memorable moments was helping a woman who had survived domestic violence tell her story. She was hesitant at first, afraid of what people would think, but I reminded her that her story could save someone’s life. We worked through every page, every chapter, and when her book was finally published, the responses she received were overwhelming. She told me that releasing her book felt like she had finally been set free. That’s the power of storytelling — and A Mouthful Publishing Services is honored to be a part of that journey for so many authors.

You are committed to empowering three distinct groups: those aspiring to build businesses, existing entrepreneurs seeking additional income streams, and individuals eager to unravel the mysteries of book publishing. Take us through all the groups and what they can expect when working with you.

Absolutely! I love that you asked this question because my mission is much bigger than just publishing books — it’s about helping people build legacies.

Aspiring Business Owners: For individuals who are just starting their business journey, I offer consultations and strategy sessions to help them find clarity, structure their business, and understand how to monetize their skills. Many people have powerful ideas but don’t know how to turn them into profitable businesses, so I help bridge that gap.

Existing Entrepreneurs Seeking Additional Income Streams: This group excites me because they already have a foundation but they’re often leaving money on the table. I teach them how to leverage their expertise through digital products, e-books, or courses — ultimately creating additional revenue streams. We also explore how they can turn their knowledge into books, which can build credibility and attract a wider audience.

Aspiring Authors: This group holds a special place in my heart. I take aspiring authors from “I have an idea” to “I’m a published author.” I provide full-service book publishing including editing, formatting, cover design, and marketing strategies. My goal is always to ensure that their book looks professional, reads beautifully, and has the potential to reach as many people as possible. I also focus heavily on positioning my authors to build influence and generate income from their books.

What makes you stand out from other publishing services?

What makes A Mouthful Publishing Services stand out is our heart-centered approach. I don’t just publish books — I care about the person behind the book. I want to know their why, their story, their mission — and I use that to guide every step of the publishing process.

I think another thing that sets me apart is my transparency. I’m very upfront about the process, the costs, and what it takes to be successful as a self-published author. Many people get caught up in the “I just want my book done” mindset, but I challenge them to think about longevity — how can we turn this book into an ongoing stream of income or a gateway to greater opportunities?

And yes — I have several repeat authors! In fact, I have clients who have now published two, three, or even four books with me. That, to me, speaks volumes about the quality of service we provide. They don’t just come to me for one-time help — they come back because they know I’m invested in their success.

Testimonial 3:

“A Mouthful Publishing Services turned my dream into a reality. I had the idea for my book for over five years but didn’t know where to start. Natosha took my vision and brought it to life. Not only did my book come out beautifully, but I’ve also been able to secure speaking engagements and make money from my book.”T. Harris

What have you enjoyed the most along your journey?

What I’ve enjoyed the most is watching people walk in their purpose. Seeing someone go from saying, “I think I want to write a book,” to holding their finished product in their hands is indescribable. Every time a client sends me a video or picture of them crying happy tears, I get emotional, too, because I know what it took for them to get there.

I’ve also enjoyed the unexpected doors that have opened because of this journey. Writing my first book opened the door to publishing, and now, publishing has opened the door to business coaching, public speaking, and being a voice for aspiring authors. Every part of my journey has built upon the next, and I’ve learned that when you stay obedient to your purpose, God will expand it beyond your imagination.

Lastly, I’ve enjoyed seeing my daughter witness my journey. She’s watched me build A Mouthful from scratch, and now she’s writing books of her own. It reminds me that everything I’m building is leaving a legacy — not just for myself but for my family and generations to come. That’s the most rewarding part of it all.
