Ronit Schwartz, the Powerhouse COO of Aryeh Strategic Partners

Ronit Schwartz is the Chief Operating Officer of Aryeh Strategic Partners, a powerhouse financial oversight and strategic consulting firm serving organizations that are ready to scale with structure, compliance, and clarity. What sets Ronit apart is not just her operational excellence, but her origin story: she’s a pediatric nurse practitioner turned executive, who learned early on that the most complex systems still hinge on one critical factor—people.

Her professional journey began at the bedside, providing care to children and families in high acuity settings. As a nurse, she mastered the art of triage—not just in the clinical sense, but in  knowing how to assess, prioritize, communicate, and act with precision under pressure. These  were more than clinical skills—they were leadership tools in the making.

Throughout her career in healthcare, Ronit served in diverse roles: from direct patient care to  care coordination, program development, and systems-level strategy. In each role, she uncovered  the same truth: systems thrive when they’re both evidence-based and compassion-led. But  she also saw the downside—organizations obsessed with data but detached from people, compliance-driven yet culture-poor. That disconnect sparked her evolution into business strategy and ultimately led to the formation of Aryeh.

Tell us about your career as a pediatric nurse practitioner to COO of a  financial firm.

My path into business leadership wasn’t linear—it evolved. I spent years in the healthcare world as a pediatric nurse practitioner, but my career spanned far beyond just one title. I worked in the most critical of units, the pediatric ICU, the neonatal ICU, the pediatric emergency room and the pediatric observation unit of a hematology oncology unit. I loved being a bedside nurse. I loved it so much I wanted to teach and share my love with other nurses and future nurses. I began the “teaching” nurse part of my career and all of a sudden I had a new love. I taught at the University of Pennsylvania and at New York University School of Nursing, teaching undergraduate future nurses how to love what they will do as much as I loved what I did. Just when I thought the future was set and I was going to teach at the University level, a new opportunity presented itself to teach staff at one of the biggest healthcare systems of New York. Teaching current staff was a new adventure and one that I couldn’t pass up but in the course of educating the staff on best practices I found myself teaching more about patient interactions, service models of excellence and how care goes beyond the actual medicine. I began to expand my teaching and focus more on service line delivery, client experiences and overall best practice when working at the bedside that went beyond the meds and treatments. Once again I thought fate was sealed and a new path was forged. I started out at the bedside, went on to teaching at Universities, continued to perfect the bedside nurse education and then moved on to quality initiatives for interaction and client/patient services. While I was working in healthcare but no longer working the bedside my husband was working his career in finance. Every moment we shared after work was often spent telling stories and sharing ideas on how we could do something different- whether it was how to best present a financial model or how to be fiscally responsible for my grants and ideas or me sharing how to best present the business and make every client a loyal forever consumer along with building the brand, we were constantly giving and implementing the others advice. I never imagined that he and I would weave our passions and life work together but we both realized that we could make a new path of care to people while offering our separate expertise to provide a complete experience to clients. That’s how a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner became a COO of a financial accounting and business management firm. I now help bring critical care to the often-stoic world of finance and business. As COO, I lead with the same mindset I brought to the bedside: a deep respect for people, a clear eye for systems, and a steady commitment to execution.

How did your background as an RN shape how you lead today and how  you run Aryeh Strategic Partners?

Nurses are trained to assess the full picture—triage priorities, implement systems, anticipate risk, and lead with purpose in high-stakes moments. Most importantly is always putting the person first- see them not as patients but people! Those instincts didn’t disappear when I stepped out of the bedside—they became my leadership toolkit. People over transactions has become a cornerstone of the model of CARE in our business and how I help run Aryeh. The numbers tell one part of the story but you need to look at the actual person to understand the whole story- just like a patient whose labs and vitals paint just one part of the picture, you need to look at the patient to understand the whole scenario.

At Aryeh, I lead the way I practiced medicine: with empathy, structure, and a bias for action. I understand how to support people through complexity. Whether it’s navigating crisis, managing a financial turnaround, or scaling a business, I bring the same calm, strategic clarity I did at the bedside—except now, it’s applied to ledgers, compliance, and growth sometimes its hand holding as well recognizing that it is still someones worse day when things go wrong in business.

I help businesses tell their story beyond the numbers and products. Understanding that proactive is better than reactive I use the model of process evaluation rather than fire extinguisher., just as I did as an RN. Yes emergencies require quick thinking and immediate reactions but the nurse in me is always looking at how something could have been prevented and what could be learned- at Aryeh we are constantly looking at the system and process for each client of what could have been done differently as well as what “fix” could have been implemented better.

Share the CARE Model.

The CARE Model at Aryeh isn’t just a framework — it’s a philosophy that drives every client interaction, every service touchpoint, and every strategic decision we make.  At Aryeh Strategic Partners CARE stands for: Clarity, Accountability, Resilience, and Execution. It’s the foundation of how we lead and how we serve.

But beyond the acronym, CARE shows up in how we treat our clients. We believe that empathy, transparency, and understanding are not soft skills — they’re strategic differentiators. It’s why we’ve built what we call “The Client Experience Sandwich” — a full spectrum approach to client relationships that goes beyond deliverables and dives into trust, loyalty, and long-term value.

We’re intentional about:

– Listening deeply to each client’s mission, needs, and goals starting at client acquisition and on-boarding.

– Building strategy that aligns with their “why,” not just their bottom line – Creating meaningful moments during service delivery — handwritten notes, personal check-ins, gratitude-driven communication with every single client throughout our engagement and real time feedback following our engagement.

– Staying present even after the engagement ends, because client care is not a transaction; it’s a relationship

CARE is what allows us to scale without sacrificing soul. It’s how we retain clients, reduce overwhelm, and lead with integrity — even in high-compliance, high-stakes industries.

Because in our world, execution means nothing if it isn’t backed by clarity, care, and connection. Partnership over Transaction!

You are a sought-after advisor, mentor, and speaker. Let’s delve into work  as an advisor. Share your strengths. Who are you an advisor for? What  role does mentorship play in your business?

Nurses are consistently ranked among the most trusted professionals—not just for their clinical expertise, but for their integrity, empathy, and relentless commitment to doing what’s right, even when no one is watching. That foundation of trust isn’t just something I carried from my nursing career — it’s the backbone of how I lead today. Ultimately I am and always will be a nurse in heart and I see what’s under the surface — in operations, culture, and leadership — and help clients navigate not just the financials, but the real challenges that impact decision-making. I am able to bring that empathy, care and heart to our clients that often in the business world is not seen or promoted. I advise founders, CEOs, contractors, and industry leaders who are often in high-growth or high-stress seasons. My job is to bring structure and insight, so they can lead wisely, but also remind them of their story and personalize them to their employees, consumers and peers. Currently I serve as an advisor to several start up entrepreneurs in the service industry and several restaurants in the miami area.

Mentorship plays a huge role in my business. At Aryeh, we mentor interns, support rising professionals, and guide our clients through every stage of their business evolution. Whether formal or informal, mentorship is part of our culture. Because growth isn’t just about numbers — it’s about people.

We too are always learning and have our own mentors who we aspire and turn to often. Experience and connections have given us the ability to be mentored by several industry leaders and we are so grateful for those opportunities.

As a speaker, what topics are important to you? Do you have any speaking  engagements in the upcoming months?

I speak on what I live — structure, scale, strategy, and soul. I love helping audiences reframe compliance as empowerment, financial clarity as leadership, and growth as something that can be done without burnout.

Some of my favorite topics include:

– Leading with CARE: A new model for strategic leadership

– Financial literacy for founders and future leaders

– Business lessons from the bedside: What nursing taught me about scale  – Building audit-ready systems that support sustainable growth

– The emotional side of entrepreneurship — and why structure creates peace

This month, I’m especially honored to present to the BRACE CADET program through the Broward County Public School System — helping high school students explore career pathways through the lens of accounting, financial literacy, and strategic leadership.

In May we are very excited to present to the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, where I’ll be sharing how Aryeh’s CARE model—Clarity, Accountability, Resilience, and Execution— is redefining how businesses scale with purpose. Focusing on the “Client Experience Sandwich”—it’s our practical framework for leaders who want to build with intention, lead with impact, and create systems that support sustainable growth in every industry.
