At Truly Trusted Events, we believe weddings should feel like home — warm, welcoming, and completely your own. We’re proud to serve all couples and specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, BIPOC families, and those seeking a planning experience that’s deeply intentional and joyfully inclusive.

What led you to launch Truly Trusted Events?
My background is in theater and film. I grew up helping my father on set as a production assistant and fell in love. When I graduated college, I set out to find a job in production or events and found it extremely difficult to land a gig without experience. I went forth into a career in Dental and then Healthcare, but there was always a piece of me unfulfilled.
When I got married in 2018 I didn’t have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. We had a larger wedding with 120 people and as much as I enjoyed our planning journey, there was a lot that fell on me on the actual day of the event. Honestly, I almost did not make it down the aisle due to the amount of stress I felt. After our wedding, I decided that I never wanted anyone to feel the amount of stress and have to work on their wedding day like I did. I set out to find other planners that I could shadow and landed my first wedding. After that day, I decided to take the leap and book my own weddings, learning as I went . I am so happy I took the leap and now 5 years later, I am a full-time Wedding Planner.

I don’t take no for an answer. I have always had big dreams for myself. I have always envisioned myself in some sort of artistic or creative professional field. When you are a Creative, there are so many people that your dreams are unconventional or not stable. Keep dreaming, keep fighting for yourself, and never take no for an answer, maybe not yet, but never “no”.

With a heart for community and connection, tell us about your Heart-Led Planning when working with clients.
Being a black and queer wedding owner in Oregon who uses bold and authentic styling means that I stand out. I take a client-centered approach to wedding planning because clients deserve to have the wedding that they want. More often than not, I see weddings being planned out of performance. Don’t get me wrong, I love a show, but I also know what it feels like to feel small, like you don’t belong, and that you are unworthy. No one deserves to feel less than on one of the most important days of their lives. Weddings are a celebration of your story and I will be your biggest advocate.
Tell us about Party Pals Childcare.
Party pals childcare was born out of my partners dedication to childcare and early childhood development. My partner was a preschool teacher and after we had our son, we decided it was best for her to stay home full time with him. We attempted to start an in-home childcare program, but it never worked out. Britt has some wedding experience from assisting me and one day we thought, what if we offered babysitting for wedding days! We provide age appropriate activity stations for children of all ages to make sure that the little VIPS also enjoy your wedding day!

Rave Client Testimonials
“Tabria was the day-of coordinator for my wedding, which just happened this past Friday. She was one of the best people that we hired for our wedding. From our first meeting, she was so thoughtful and giving with her time and her advice. We had many email exchanges and she did two site visits with us to hash out the logistics and details for the day—all of this preparation really made things go smoothly the day of. On our wedding day, Tabria was very prompt and attentive to our needs. She brought us lots of water and food; and was checking in with me on things like the music and some diy decor to make sure that everything is what I expected. There were some mishaps with our caterer and we immediately turned to Tabria for advice. She was nothing but graceful about it, which was just what we needed at that moment. Thank you Tabria!
Overall, I’m very happy to have Tabria as my wedding coordinator and would recommend her to anyone, especially if you are going to have your wedding at the Crag Rat Hut—Tabria is very familiar with the venue and will be a great addition to your team.”
“Dear Tabria,
Maresa and I want to sincerely thank you for your incredible work in planning our wedding. From the very beginning, your guidance, attention to detail, and thoughtful approach made each meeting feel meaningful—moments we’ll always treasure. Our wedding simply wouldn’t have been the same without you.
Thanks to your talent and vision, we now have beautifully preserved memories that we’ll cherish and share for generations to come.
You truly have a gift, and it shines brightly through everything you do. It’s clear you love your craft, and that passion makes all the difference. We would wholeheartedly recommend you to any couple looking for an exceptional photographer.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our special day. We will always be grateful.”
Tabria has a calm, reassuring approach and a deep understanding of even the most Type A bride (like me!). She took on tasks effortlessly, often anticipating what needed to be done without any additional instruction. Her stellar design eye brought my vision to life, and she helped me refine and execute it beautifully.

How important is giving back to you?
Giving back is at the foundation of my soul. I have a servant’s heart and my cup overflows when I am able to help others. Community is very important, I truly believe that we are all we have and we must stick together in order to live a long fulfilling life. There have been many people and entities that have helped me along my journey and I want to help others. I have a long term goal to start a wedding planning/event planning internship for Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks who are interested in learning the works of wedding day production. I want to encourage young creative entrepreneurs and show them that their dreams can be realities.
What have you enjoyed the most about wedding planning?
I really enjoy seeing everything come together. On average, I spend a year planning with my couples. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching the magic unfold before our eyes. I really love the day of event management and being in all of the action. I also really love traveling. My work has taken me up and down the Pacific NW from Oregon to Washington and having the chance to explore and see the natural beauty around me inspires me so much.
